Player ‘wants Chelsea’ with ‘all parties confident a deal will be agreed’

One player reportedly wants to play for Chelsea as he waits for his club to agree a fee with them for him to make the big move to Stamford Bridge.

And the same report goes on to say that all parties are confident that a deal will be agreed soon.

Raham Osman of London World has just posted on X: “Talks held again this week all parties confident a deal will be agreed soon. Estevao wants Chelsea.”

He quoted his previous post that said…..

He is of course speaking about Brazilian teenager Estavao Willian, who has widely been reported to be close to joining Chelsea this week.

Here we go soon?

This one feels like it is only going in one direction now, with an infamous Fabrizio Romano ‘here we go’ on it’s way soon. Romano posts those ‘here we go’ updates whenever he knows a deal is fully done. So Chelsea fans will be eagerly awaiting said post now.

Willian is a hugely talented player who is supposed to be a generational talent and the next biggest thing to come out of Brazilian football, so naturally the excitement is building for this one despite the player still only being 17 and he will not be able to feature for Chelsea until he is 18-years-old.

Chelsea have been snapping up some of the best young talents from South America, and Willian if he does join the club, will come along with another highly rated young South American winger, Kendry Paez, who is already out there making a real name for himself at an even younger age than Willian right now.

It appears to be the recruitment strategy of Chelsea right now – signing young talents before they become too big, famous, and more importantly, expensive! Time will tell if they have been smart here or just took too big a risk.
